Indications:

The RECOS® ulna shortening plates are mainly used in case of constitutional and post-traumatic, clinically relevant ulna impaction syndrome.

Features and Benefits:

  • Pre-angled distal screw holes for best possible anchorage in the bone
  • Two elongated holes for a standardized, secure closure of osteotomy gaps up to 10 mm
  • Color-coded drill sleeves for unambiguous use of the right drill 
  • Bridge  plate with recess in the osteotomy zone to prevent contractions between  saw blade and plate and for a safe transection of the periosteum
  • Color-coded smartDrive Screws Ø 2.5 mm or Ø 3.0 mm - Standard or locking
